There's absolutely no point in speculating about anybody half decent joining us if we go down.  The speculation will all be about which players want to leave.

Michael Brown might do a job in midfield.

From a site called clean sheets all round

Quote
Aston Villa are close to signing Inter Milan’s defensive midfielder McDonald Mariga.

The Kenya international, who made his name for Parma, has only started two Serie A games all season and finds himself a long way down the pecking order behind the likes of Esteban Cambiasso and Dejan Stankovic.

Mariga, 23, will reportedly be allowed to leave the San Siro this summer for around £4.5m.

iirc man city tried to sign that mariga from parma, but he didn't get a work permit and ended up staying in italy and going to inter.

Bradley no thanks

Ask yourself a question - why has he not featured and why is a geriatric 38 year old in front of him?

I though Bradley would be a good signing after seeing him in the world cup- but he doesn't seen to have a look in here although it's just one of many odd managerial decisions.

I could see Liverpool being interested, he's still a really good defender when he can be arsed.
