Clark, Albrighton, Makoun, Delph, Downing, Bent

I reckon we'll have 5 players for the XI next year. Keeper, right back, left back, centre back and a forward.

With a tackler in midfielder, another defender and perhaps a back up 'keeper in too.

8 in, 10 out, I reckon.

Owen i think end of the season will come out and say he will retire, unless Manure take him for another season, Owen has come out and said he wants to be at a club challenging honours or he wouldn't bother.

He should be assuming that his ability and his goals would be more likely to make that happen. Or is that too logical?

We wont be signing Owen, he has one focus and that is to get as much monney as he can out of the last days of his legs.

I read some quotes from Cuellar's twitter page the othe day, he said he will be fit for Wolves and Collins is hopefull and when asked if he is staying at Villa he said yes he loves it here.

Was this a load of shit? As I don't have Twitter.

Carlos' twitter:
@ASTVIL123. Yes I would like to be here for a long long time I'm so happy in Villa

Carlos is ace. I hope he gets the chance to make the CB position his own.
I'm amazed that he has put up with being played out of position for such a long time. He either loves the club or lacks the ego/drive to demand that he plays on his best position.

Either way I think he deserves the opportunity. Him and Clark would be a good combination for me. Collins as back-up and ? as fourth choice.

I'm along those lines, but we only need another forward player if Young goes.

Next season i'd like to see a squad of;
New GK, Guzan, Marshall,
Walker (perm), Lichaj, Cuellar, Clarke, Baker, New CB, New LB, Young.
Albrighton, Bannan, Delph, Makoun, New CM, Reo Coker, Downing, Herd, Johnson.
Bent, Agbonlahor, Young (Or replace), Delfouneso, Weimann.

Losing;
Freidel, Beye, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Osbourne, Salifou, Petrov, Pires, Carew, Ireland, Heskey.

Thats some serious wages saved, but we need to spend big on all of the players coming in, all of them to go straight in the team.

Why are you so bothered about what haircut Walker has?

I'd go back for Adam.

Makoun, Delph and Adam in midfield. Mix of passing, creativity and someone to stick a foot in. With Albrighton and Downing wide of Bent.

Let Nige go. If Ged rates Hogg then bring him back as the tackler option. If not then let him go and perhaps go for Forfana?

Swap Reo-Coker for Bradley, and lose Luke Young (I think his contract is up in the summer) and I'd be happy with that. You've also then got Lowry & Gardner coming through that could play a part next season too.

Yeah, Bradley for Reo-Coker maybe, and someone to replace LYoung, quite possibly. The 2 really big deals we have to do is get a monster centre half who can also play a bit and organise the rest of the defence, and a monster centre midfielder, who can boss the game and can run all day. Makoun or Delph would then come into their own alongside such a player who could allow them to just play thier nice passing game without having to try to put themself about, as they do now with Petrov along side them.

   I hope that GH hangs about long enough to get Taiwo........i like the look of him.

  On ydays performance i think we need a brute of a player in the centre of midfield.If w are still after Sissoko, nd we have the money, then he'll do.
