Musical middle age sounds rubbish though.

"I went down town, to buy a little bike. And when me see the price me nearly lose me sight... which is already failing, sadly."

Remember FB's goal against Newcastle ?

66/1 on the first goal in the second half, I'll never forget it !!!!

"Celtic boss Neil Lennon is ready to sign Coventry's Republic of Ireland keeper Keiren Westwood in a bargain free transfer swoop. Westwood is out of contract in the summer and has refused to sign a new deal at Coventry.
Full story: Daily Mirror"

I am sorry if this upsets Eastie and Shrek who are big Westwood fans.............

There is still time... Only problem is Celtic are a foreign club so he can sign on a pre-contract with them now.

Would be a terrible error for Villa not to sign him. He is a perfect choice. Does not even have to move home .......

Owen?  Really?  Naaah.

Bullshit, were really going to sign a 31 year old injury prone striker? We already got heskey

Owen wouldnt surprise me as houllier has spoken about him glowingly recently and he can play a wider role , on a free he would be ok, and unload heskey.

As for westwood as my old friend clampy would say 'its only in the mirror'.we need 2 decent keepers and westwood on a free would be fine , if not him fair enough as long as its not friedal or guzan.

Can't see Owen happening. He'd command too much to be cover for Bent and he couldn't work on his own upfront, surely?

He'll go somewhere like QPR or Cardiff, I reckon.

Owen i think end of the season will come out and say he will retire, unless Manure take him for another season, Owen has come out and said he wants to be at a club challenging honours or he wouldn't bother.

In other words, he wants just any winner's medal by just sitting on the bench.

If we sign Owen, we may as well put boards up and call it a day.
We're already in financial difficulty, there would be no point in signing somebody who you'd be lucky to get 10 games a season out of.

I don't believe it for one second though.

The proBlem with Owen is he's injury prone although he is a natural finisher , heskey is both injury prone and can't finish to save his life, a fit Owen would be useful but it's unlikely I would think.

I'd only take Owen if we had a pay as you play contract, I can't see it happening though.

There would be absolutely nothing in it for him to sign for anyone on that basis.

Someone will be daft enough to give him a three year contract, I just hope it's not us.
