Yes it could be quite a summer- I see Clark as a huge part of the future but keeper, 2 full backs , a centre half, and replacement for ash and maybe gabby too- could well be looking at maybe  6 in and 6 out with both youngs, warnock, beye, Carew, maybe dunne and gabby going?

Phil thommo said that GED always liked to do all his business by the end of June so they were in for pre season- could be exciting times ahead.

I think Collins and Clark would be a good partnership tbh.Keep Cuellar and Baker coming through, and if we need another CH then keep Dunne. If we have any money, buy as good a LB and if needs be RB as we can afford.

I expect AYoung to go in the summer, and would'nt be surprised if Gabby goes either.

I think the club want to sell as many high earners as possible
What gives you that impression then?

The fact our wage bill is 80 odd percent of our turnover really.

Plus the fact our defence is shit with Dunne and Collins the main stays at CB, I'd sell Dunne and him being a top earner just makes me think so even more.

Can't see too many takers for Dunne at £60k per week

Where do people get these wage figures from for individual players?

That is the problem we have - some players we may want to move on are on very good wages and will any interested buyers be prepared to match their wage demands?

Cahill - Easy story. GH states his admiration, Cahill looks set to leave and you have a story.

It's an estimate, we know the young lads are not on a large wack, so the rest of the squad must be on a fair wack to match our huge wage bill.

Collins and dunne having a drunken bust up with the coaching staff in midweek might just have been the final straw for the pair and I would not be surprised if both were out the door this summer.

the 60k figure was reported widely when he joined and has been ever since. Could be a few grand either side of 60 i guess, but its in that ballpark

I like Cahill, but i don;t think he's as good as a lot of people make out. He has been at Bolton a while. Either they've put a massive price tag on him or big clubs are just not convinced.

As for someone mentioning Foster if SHA drop, that's a good shout, although they'd make us pay over the odds for him knowing them.

It was also widely reported that Darren Bent was on £90k/week whilst he was at Spurs.

Don't believe everything you read in the papers - no matter how widely reported it is.

I totally agree, but I think it's quite obvious he is one of the top earners, we will never know exactly how much.
