The first thing I noticed is Richard Dunne's looking quite slim.

I thought that, too. Ireland and Warnock involved too. But who's the guy taking the training, initials AL on his top?
Beat me to it Irish. Fitness coach for Blackburn and Newcastle in the past. I think!?

I'd love to know exactly what goes onto signing a player. We all know it's not as easy as picking the player you want, getting him to sign a new contract the organising a Photoshoot with him holding up a new villa shirt with his name on it. So what exactly does go on and have to be done to get a player in that villa shirt?

Agree with some of these Irish....forget Hutton, we've got Luke Young. We therefore need a left back. Know nuthin about your Celtic man, or the Dutch lad. Scott Parker's been mentioned here today...I'd love him to join us

Perhaps PF can hold one of those "meet the fans" evenings at the Holte and explain it all to us...hopefully because he will have had some positive and meaningful experience of it over the next few weeks! Or some really shit experience of it! Or, no experience of it at all!

Hutton is no better than Luke Young. Emilio Izaguirre is quality. (reportedly being tracked by Man Utd) Wesley Verhoek is in a mid table belgian team who stands out in poor company. Parker would be a great move next to Delph and Makoun. Would prefer Robinson to Given. Younger and been playing recently and cheaper long term .......

Verhoek plays in Holland, not Belgium.

Didn't see anything on those 4 pages that wasn't sensible except for the one rant which was milder than Pablo's. I don't know of any particular animosity between the clubs-it used to be scary going to Maine Road years ago-but I know plenty of Blue Mancs up here and they don't seem anything like the worst supporters.

If we got new fitness coach do this mean Patrick the French fitness coach is no longer working for us. Just asking.

We need to forget the discussion on wether we should sign Given, he is nailed on to be our keeper next season. AM says Guzan will be staying so our GK dept. is set for the season.

So he stands out in poor company, like N'Zogbia? I don't really see this as being the best way to consider a player. He looks good but it's all just an illusion because those around him are rubbish and making him look better. Looks like Utd may have been suckered with Ashley Young then, standing out in a poor mid table team, he must be cack.
