Our hope today lies in the fact that, if anything, Blackpool are worse than us at the back.
If we don't win this one, against a team that have lost the last 5 whilst, letting in 16 goals, we deserve to be in a relegation battle.

great effort from Downing. Just wide

Oh, but no, he's rubbish, he doesn't go into tackles like Mark Dennis on speed.

He's our best player by a mile today.

Played some lovely stuff going forward, but composure and final ball has cost us. Should be 3-4 up IMO, and will lose this second half on not taking the chances we have had.

It's the defence, stupid!

Happy as I am with the signings of Bent, Makoun and Bradley, it was our defence that got us into this mess in the first place and that wasn't really rectified in Jan.

We always look like we have a goal in us (as we did earlier in the season) but we always look like we could concede twice as many.

He could score three and there will be those battering him for not being Shaun Teale.

That pitch is awful. Is that a Lithuanian daffodil picker in goal for them?

We probably would have signed someone had they not started playing well during the period. Which now seems to be a fluke.

Yeah, best crosser by a country mile. Oh hang on, you're talking about Downing or Dennis?
