I give them 20years max and then they will be looking to have a new football only stadium with a much smaller capacity. Re Juventus.

Indeed. It does strike me as odd that Roma and Juve, fed up with the running tracks ruining the atmosphere, are doing the literal opposite to what West Ham are doing.

When you consider that they're both big clubs that know what they're doing, and who is running West Ham, then no not really!

We can lose the "(apparently)" from the title now.

Well I wouldn't class Roma as 'well-run', but yes, next to Gollivan the outgoing Sensi family look like Randy.

I can't imagine many WHU fans being pleased about this. Where's Sendo when you need him?

Can you ask them "So what's it like to finally get the free stadium you've always dreamed about since you took over at Small Heath?"

Ask them if they feel it was a step up from owning the second biggest team in the second city, to the second biggest team to wear claret and blue in the country?

I hope you're wearing a rather large blow up  dildo on your head?

You're doing Marston Green Wanderers U12s Girls 2nd 11 a great disservice there.

Not odd at all.

Sullivan, Gold, subsidised new stadium. It's the fulfilment of a dream that started with all that unseemly begging when they were up here.

Personally, I think it'll be the end of West Ham. They'll get nowhere near filling a 60,000 stadium, and as mentioned, the running track will totally kill off the one thing they do have - atmosphere and a bit of tradition.

My only concern with the whole thing is if West Ham are able to have the naming rights. It could give them some serious cash.
