Completely forgot I'm a member on this site! Heh.

Shocking decision to say the least. Stupid timing too. Somehow I've got a feeling that there's more to this than just the "13 defeats in 18 games as the reason for their decision". Twats.

Unless there is some elaborate double-bluffing going on, I am concerned that people seem to give a toss who manages the Stripeys.

It could be Fred West as far as I'm concerned

It seems that chairman like to draw on the old honeymoon period for a new manager to keep them up.  Poor decision I reckon but if it does keep them up they will be vindicated.

It was a cunning plan to sack him six days after the transfer window shut so they will be under no pressure to give the new victim manager any money to spend.

All four West Midlands teams have taken only 19 points from their last 20 matches. West Brom have thrown this dice to try and avoid relegation.

No way would MON go there. He thinks he's better than that

He is better than that.

When did WBA ever do so well as we did under MON?

He was prepared to go to West Ham until he got caught with his trousers down shafting Grant.

Desperate to stay up?   Allardyce.

Would be a huge shame as it would ruin all the good progress they've made in the last year or so creating "attractive football", but it may be the price needed to be paid for Premier League football next year.

Allardyce will wind up there. From that part of the country. They'll just have to get used to a completely different style of football. However, if they stay this season, he'll keep them up in the future.

Ah, it's just Roberto comes across well. Bit of dignity and class.

Like, you'd say to somebody: 'You're gonna like this guy, he's alright.
He's a good fella. He's one of us'. You understand?

strange - if they win their game in hand, they'd be level on points with us, this despite having spent far less. With him gone, as well as Roy Hodgson and Chris Hughton, Houllier must be counting his lucky stars that he  has such a patient boss as Randy.

You have? Well I'm awfully sorry about that. I was staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai having the time of life.  ;)

Fred West is dead. Nevertheless, that still makes him a better potential manager for Baggies than Sam Allardyce.  ;)
