This might shock a few people but I'd take Bosnich!

There are compelling arguments for McGrath or Laursen, but I'd take Mark Bosnich in his prime to replace Brad.

or Sid, or God, or Dennis Mortimer, or Andy Gray, or Yorkie, or Alex Cropley, or Jimmy Rimmer, or Gary Shaw (without any injuries, what a player he would have been).

Bruce Rioch - we would have someone with a more than decent chance of scoring from outside the area, no arguing about who would take free kicks around the area and a bit of nasty in midfield.

Honourable mentions to McParland, Yorke, Cowans, McGrath, Little and Sleeuwenhoek.

Sadly I never saw him play either but all my family loved him and he was a hero in our house, my nan God rest her soul had a picture of him on her wall and she never went to any Villa games.
