Why isn't Bannan being brought on?

My thoughts entirely.  The game is crying out for Wee Barry to come on right this second.  We demand the introduction of Bannan!

Who do we want?
We want Bannan!
When do we want him?
Now!

54% possession to Villa according to BBC

Pity 0% of the goals scored

Man United have only conceded 7 goals at home this season, so we're in plentiful company there.

The response to going down after less than a minute has been heartening, we've passed the ball around very nicely for long spells, and had most of the possession.

Man United are a much better side than us. In fact, they're a much better side than the rest of the league, too, so we were always going to be well up against it here, but if we're going to lose, I'd rather we did it having not lost our bottle, gone to pieces and let that early goal get to us.

All the signs are that that will not be the case.

Is Petrov actually on the pitch? Genuinely not heard him mentioned

Makoun should play alongside NRC in a game like us.  We've hardly put a tackle in in the middle of a park.  lightweight.

To be fair, it's not been that sort of game.  We've had more possession than them, and they've not passed it round us in the middle which would need someone running round sticking their foot in.

We're actually knocking it around quite well, though I suspect that's only because ManUre want us to.  The early goal means they've sat back a bit more than I thought they would.
