This display is very heartening. We may be losing, but I reckon we are playing the best football of the season.
If we can take this forward, we are going to take teams apart, and Makoun looks to me like he will be the dogs bollox.

How many shots have we had? We're not exactly hurting them much are we?

The old "sell to buy" myth being trotted out yet again. Do they all have a fucking script to follow?

We have actually played some good stuff, I really like the look of Makoun in midfield.

No point in Albrighton being on the pitch, we need NRC to take the ball forward in the middle, not Ash ffs

Makoun does look good but I hope there is a little more to his game.  So far he has been finding space, getting the ball and passing it 10 yards after 1 or 2 touches.  Can he hold the ball, drive forward and play a defence splitting pass?

Give him a chance he's played barely 90 minutes for us yet.

I agree, but a small shot might be nice too.

Pass it around and gift it back to them.  I agree,  this isn't heartening.  If this carries on well be a few down by the end.

I wasn't aware they did Mac.

They do. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Giggs should have scored then. Makoun looks class.

There are few better illustrations of the sterile, passionless, Skyed to death nature of English football than the spectacle of 75,000 people inside Old Trafford with Man United pulling away at the top of the league, creating all the noise and atmosphere of Tamworth Reserves v Sutton Paper Boys XI on a Sunday morning.

Excellent passing there.

To describe Makoun as a bit of an upgrade on NRC is an understatement on the evidence so far.

An upgrade on Petrov. Get NRC on and we might stand a chance.

He hasn't attempted a single tackle yet that I can recall.  He's a neat and tidy passer.  A defensive midfielder he isn't.

For all our possession we need to take a lesson from Man Utd.  Almost every time they go forward they create a goal scoring opportunity, we've created pretty much nothing.
