Sit draw, but we can beat Citeh.......we have no Bent this time though.

It's Blues' season this one.

In 97 didn't Boro lose two cup finals and get relegated? Would it be more painful for them if they did rather than just get relegated? If they get shafted in both it might be enjoyable.

Especially if the FA Cup one is by us. Come on people! Where is the optimism? Why can it be Blues' year but not ours? We are solid at the back, getting better in midfield and up front we'll get goals from.... Somewhere.

Any particular reason why the Knuckle Draggers ALWAYS get easy teams at HOME?

It is beyond ridiculous how lucky they're in draws. Why do neanderthals who play hoofball get rewarded?
Because it's a random draw?
Just like it was random draw when we should of played Middlesboro instead of United 3 years ago because the person drawing the balls couldn't read?

I'm sorry, they've got very very lucky with cup draws. It's sad they get rewarded for being Birmingham City. It can't be random if they get easy draws at home all the time.

Fucking Coventry, why didn't you beat those dickheads!

But like the Murphy's, he's not bitter.

A potentially tough draw, but far from impossible, especially with Makoun and Bradley likely to be available.

Looks like Man Utd will continue their run of live cup games on TV since 1883 then.

This is the point, actually. Our biggest problem against sides like City has been panicking and not keeping the ball. With some real quality and mental as well as physical toughness in the midfield, we should give ourselves more of a chance.

If they get to the FA Cup Final they will probably get in Europe, meaning we would have to finish sixth to have any chance of losing to Rapid Vienna next year.

Best chance is to get a draw at Eastlands, take 'em back to Villa Park and finish them off...

...Or Notts County could just win in the 2nd leg.

I can handle a difficult tie but what really sticks in my craw is that bunch of bastards in Saltley getting yet another piss-easy tie.  It's beyond a fcuking joke now.

Quite apart from the fact that it's one of the worst draws we could have got, it'll mean another midweek evening trip and the associated travel problems. County's website confirms the reply date as 5th Round weekend.

Fulham 2-0 Spurs. Two pens for Murphy, and Dawson sent off

Not exactly the greatest draw we could have had, but at the same time, if you want to win a cup you have to expect some tough draws.

Fuck it, we can beat them. We can beat anyone, we're Aston Villa.

So what you are saying is that for some surreal and unfathomable reason the FA and The Football League have conspired with a host of "celebrities" to award Birmingham City with easy home draws in this year's cup competitions?
