You have to figure that that NRC is as good as gone if Bradley can be signed permanently. Pires won't be at the club, and maybe Petrov is also out. We'll be getting younger and faster very quicly indeed.

Maybe worth keeping on as a coach?

Pires,   Always thought that would be the long term option.
Use him to help kill games if necessary and help with the development of the kids

Yes, absolutely if that's what he wants. There aren't many with better techinical ability than Pires.

Just music too, here in Germany. I've been pissing cluelessly about with proxy servers, but nowt works. It's embarrassing that the entire media is unable to supply even pictures for 5live to comment on...

Yes, absolutely if that's what he wants.

And if he has his badges and realises what being part of the staff would entail - i.e not spouting off in the French press about dressing room difficulties.

Live commentry on BRMB 96.4

You have to be near Brum to get that.

I can get it via an iphone app but am getting "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper at the mo - a reference to how we keep drawing Blackburn in the cups, or is the stream not a live one?

Interesting find on Twitter. @JBradleySports who is a senior writer for ESPN Magazine and Michael Bradley's Uncle just tweeted: Congratulations Michael. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/872481/usa-midfielder-michael-bradley-loaned-to-villa?cc=5901

Story seems to be spreading like wildfire!

Most of our coaches are midfielders already- if we need another coach I'd rather it be a defensive or striking coach- things are really looking up now and this will be a great win if we hang on today.

Anything officially about Bradley, or is it just espn?

Villa's transfer dealings have been quite excellent. And perhaps with the exception of Makoun, all of the deals with done with really nobody else knowing about them, and with the minimum of fuss.
