Apparently Bradley on loan is confirmed

Really?! That's a top signing if it's true! Really good player! Any sauce with that?

ESPN

really?? Michael Bradley's a really hard working, excellent player. Do you have a link to the story?

http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/6071000/american-michael-bradley-joins-english-premier-league-aston-villa-loan

yeh, I just found it. Very strange though that it's being reported on ESPN before other sources, but I'll tell you, that he's a very good player indeed. I think, if true, we'll all be very happy if this is the case.

HT.

Sounds like a corker, Rovers a tad unlucky, they've had a couple of great chances. Great to see Pires, Bannan and the Fonz at the forefront of our good stuff.

what's really great in my opinion is that we can bring three players in and all three score. It's a sign that things are so much better at the club, and that squad rotation really has it's benefits. The nice thing will be if we can give the likes of Ash and Downing a day off. Anyone know how Gabby's doing?

Good half. would like to see us tighten up at te back but hey ho. As for Bradley -  if it is right then its a great signing. Well, potentially.

They don't half talk some bollocks on the Eurosport website - description of fonz's goal
"42'GOAL VILLA! Baker finds Delfouneso in the penalty box and the Villa striker has little trouble in heading home into the bottom-left of the net. He was only on the penalty spot, six yards out, and that would have been harder to miss than to score for the Villa man

Barry Bannan the next Charlie Adam??

He will be a considerably better player if he answers his vast potential.

By all accounts Uncle Bob scored a cracker. I don't know why but I actually want him to do well for us.

Why wouldn't you want a player to do well for us ?

Probably not the best choice of words. It's more to do with how I feel sorry for him with all the stick he gets. It's not his fault he's not as good and young as he used to be. I don't like how he was used as a stick to beat Hotlips with. So I want him to do more well than he has. Goals and goal line clearances might do that.

I did feel very sorry for him ambling around against Arsenal not the player he was.
Fair enough.
His performances for us so far have been fairly pathetic so far. Hopefully this is finally the start of his career .

Don't understand Bradley on-loan. Can't we just buy him if we rate him? Otherwise he's just holding up the development of Bannan and Delph. Plus, GHou has confirmed Ireland will be here in Feb.

Very cold here in a sparse upper Trinity.

Entertaining game though which Bannan is totally bossing

Could be another 6-4 this, it's hardly been a defensive master-class from either side!

Sounds like a good game. Whats the betting Everton - Chelsea is a dull draw.

Everton 1 - 0, Saha just as you typed that :-)

He has been giving Salgado a tough time but it sounded like Salgado got away from him to put the ball in for their goal.
