Ah, no streams...like a trip back to the dark ages, or match-threads circa 2002. It does mean I'm going to have to rely on Woodward though.

As for the Pires baiting, he's here til the summer so he is going to get the odd run-out, especially in cup matches. Deal with it.
And it's great to see Houllier rotating the squad without weakening it significantly. There's more than enough quality there to win today.

Any streams recommended for overseas Villains?

Bez,

Villasteams.com -  £1.99 - may as well go for 2 weeks at £3.50 is the only way to travel.

I'm a lapsed subscriber, now get pretty much all the games via Foxtel (think Sky but for Oz) so have no need.

FA Cup is the one stumbling block as its with Setanta and in any case, this games not covered.

Roque Santa Cruz injured, you say? Crikey. How unexpected.

At vp. Empty seats all around no more than 20 k and worried about this team selection. Should have more respect for the FA cup. Let's see how it goes

Lot of empty seats at Goodison too apparently and a very lethargic game. These lunchtime kick offs are most unsatisfactory...

Pires is playing a free role in front of NRC (capt.) and Bannan.

I imagine Bannan's role is something like tempo-dictator in deep midfield, which is fine, but I'd like to see him further forward, where Pires sounds like he's playing now.

My thoughts exactly.
