Pires is playing a free role in front of NRC (capt.) and Bannan.

I imagine Bannan's role is something like tempo-dictator in deep midfield, which is fine, but I'd like to see him further forward, where Pires sounds like he's playing now.

Any streams recommended for overseas Villains?

Bez,

Villasteams.com -  £1.99 - may as well go for 2 weeks at £3.50 is the only way to travel.

Even the guy doing the updates for the Beeb can't watch the game.

1306: Now, I must warn you, I don't actually have TV pictures from all the games today so I'm likely to be a bit sketchy on some details as the day goes on. Apologies. One of the matches I'm a touch blind to right now is Aston Villa-Blackburn, unfortunately, but I can tell you that Villa midfielder Barry Bannan has drilled a decent effort wide early on and Emile Heskey, too, has fired off-target in that one.

He's got rather a handy knack of scoring, has that young man.

Long may it last!
