Think the whole think smacks of desperation personally

A bit like Small Heath painting the soles of their boots red and having the pitch exorcised.

and the Villa are showing we're the best in the land....???

Well it was mainly old Steamers and C-Crew, so pretty accurate in their day.

Edit: He's on the video still image at the start.

Yes, let's go for swathes of blue seats, "fuck-off [insert scapegoat here]", audible groaning, "[player's name here] you thick ******", Birmingham are you listening?, chips and curry sauce after 20 minutes of play, and 'beat the traffic' on the stroke of 4:40. Or we could call in Brigada 1874 to do a dance routine.

Who is the bloke at the front?

"Big H when he boxed in the 70's couldn't find anyone to box him because he was too big and true story about the ceilings not being big enough for him . Was due to spar with Bruno at one point . Top lad loves the Villa and a gentleman kept it together last night and played a major part in it . Great turnout"

In my opinion this is the best thing on You Tube ever.

Great to see this, and disappointed I could not get away from the office in time to be there myself. Really brought back memories of the 70's and early 80's; two great songs.

Think the whole thing is a really good idea, and as other posters have said we (the fans) need to carry on where we left off at Goodison on Saturday; easier said that done as there'll always be some idiots booing if it doesn't go our way in the early stages of the game.

Fair play to everyone who was involved in setting this up and who turned up on the day.

If i'm honest, I find the song a little dreary and uninspiring. I'm hoping i'll change my mind when I hear a couple of thousand singing it.

I appreciate that. It just do anything for me personally.
