I would have Milner back like a shot but i don't think he will come back he will get is chance once Barry calls it a day, which won't be long considering Fat Baz's performance on saturday.

Shame we never included a buy back or first option clause into the contract for Milner.

How do you know we didn't? Milner was clearly liked within the club so I wouldn't be surprised if we tried. Equally Man City wouldn't have much to lose by agreeing to it too. Here's hoping...

Quite frankly I'm rather disappointed in some of you.

Barry gave us 10 good years and had plenty of chances to leave us in that time. He got to a point in his career when it was a "now or never" chance for him to move to a big club. As for Milner, he gave us the finger at the very first opportunity after less than 2 years of service. Baffles me how most on here treat Milner with more respect than Barry.

As for having either one of them back. NO THANKS.

I think it was more the way the went about the respective transfers...

One acted with class and dignity and the other one bleated through the papers for months!

They both wanted out, the only reason Barry dragged on for so long was because Liverpool weren't willing to match the price

If we buy Charlie Adam, I hope Paul Faulkner inserts a clause into the deal allowing me to cycle over Ian Holloway's foot

Please, please let us sign Milner back.

Oh and get Lescott while we're there.

Lescott? He has been to the Curtis Davis school of defending.
No thank you.

The fee would probably be lower if we did,and no one at the club mentioned it at the time.
