But there's players that can play better on the left than Gabby, so he shouldn't be there.  It has to be Young or Downing down the left flank.  Gabby plays up front or not at all, horses for courses old boy, don'cherknow?

I just saw Martinez interviewed on SSN. His English is spectacularly good. In fact, I'd say it is better than GH's.

That goes without saying.

I wasn't aware (till I just checked) that he's been here 16 years now.

My claim to fame - I played football against him for about five minutes.

So why Skysports is not showing the game I mean they have no live football tomorrow.

I'm going for 1-2. Nzogbia for them. Ash and Albrighton for us. I'll be there at the DW and can't wait.

Really can't believe that people are saying they'd settle for a draw tomorrow. We're 4 points off the bottom of the table and playing against one of our competitors for survival!!

I've every confidence that we'll stay up, but until we reach 42 points (think it'll take that this year) I'm not counting my chickens. Its a complacent attitude that has got "teams too good to go down" relegated in the past.

Because there's a limit to how many games they can show.

4-4-2 tonight, surely. Either Gabby or Heskey to partner Bent. Either one, I'm not fussed. Although, Gabby needs a goal more.

Houllier never plays 442 so can't see much chance of that. I agree in principle that bannan's vision could support bent, but barry's confidence seems to be low of late. O think either NRC or makoun will start, but unless he does something odd like play heskey on the left I think we'll be otherwise unchanged. Posible exception of walker for cuellar, or perhaps albrighton.

Ralph Wiggum 1 - 3 Bart Simpson

Bent (2) & Ash for us.

I don't give a damn who will score for them.

Stats on the BBC site claim that a home team hasn't won between Villa and Wigan in the last 8 games and Villa haven't lost in the last 3 visits to the DW. All that points to a Wigan win then, But there crap and were the mighty Villa so we'll stuff them 2-0.
