I've got a feeling the game on saturday will have taken a little out of them and so a draw is on the cards for me, as long we don't lose!

My heart says we have turned the corner and will smash them four nil.

My head says we ain't out of the woods yet and this will end up one each.

Hope my heart is right though - Up The Villa!

While it's not a must win game,as drawing it wouldn't ruin our chances of moving up the table, but if we do win,we open a good gap between us and the bottom three.

Whats the news about Walker? If he played,i could see him getting alot of joy with Albrighton and creating chances for Bent.

I expect us to win this, our first league back to back wins hopefully this season.

Ground we have a good recent record on and not a very intimidating one at that. Wigan also look to me recently a team that's resigned to going down.

1-3 us, Bent again, Young and Albrighton.

I'm another who wouldn't risk starting Makoun just yet - bring him on for the last 20 mins and then start him against Blackeye in the cup.

---------------------Friedel-----------------
---Walker---Dunne---Collins---Clark---
---------------Petrov---NRC---------------
---Agbonlahor---Young----Downing---
---------------------Bent-------------------

Marshall
Heskey
Albrighton
Makoun
Bannan
Cuellar
Lichaj

Wigan 1-2 Aston Villa

N'Zogbia 48

Bent 32
Heskey 84

Not a must win game ? what planet are you on ? we have Man utd after this in the league. Lose both these games and we are back in the bottom three. Get real , we need every game down as a win until the end of the season , just to make this a "transitional" period ......

God some people are short-termist. Yes, we have Man Utd after this - but has anyone checked the games after that? TWO MONTHS of winnable games, people. Not that we'll win all of them, but the nightmare run of fixtures is over until the last two weeks of the season.

I saw somebody mention that tickets will be on sale at the gate from 6pm. Worth contacting the Ticket Office or Wigan to check.

This is an absolutely vital game to win.  If we do, we'll be 6 points clear of Wigan with a much better goal difference.  We'll also be around midtable, which would obviously give everybody a big confidence boost.  Lose, and we then play Man U still firmly entrenched in the relegation mire.

Huge, huge, must win game.

So if we draw we're in the shit are we?

Saturdays result was a bonus as i didn't think we'd win,i've gotta feeling we'll win tomorrow, but so far this season we havent strung two good results together.
