"It's Villa, Villa Night, and no-one's gonna save you from the Bent about to strike"

Love it!

Perhaps the Brigada 1874 could work on this choreography:

That is so funny! Me and the Mrs enjoyed that!

Also that ditty Could go down as best terrace song this decade! Love it.

Bent- finishing 7?!?!?!

Who wrote that? I've seen enough of him in 18 months at our place to know he's a 9. The rest seems fair enough though. Yes he is a little one dimensional at times, but if one dimension gets you 20+ goals a season I certainly didnt complain.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but did anyone see MOTD Saturday night?  The stat they brought up was that Bent only had one touch in the box all game - and that was the goal!

His all round play was also good, without being spectacular, so I don't think he'll be a passenger we have to carry when it comes to build up play.

A statistic I've not seen thrown about much - no striker in the league takes as few shots per goal that he scores as Darren Bent.

Something he's certainly carried on thus far with us.

How do Bent and Dzeko measure up? I think they missed an important area...

Chance of still playing in England in four years time?

Bent 10

Dzeko 2

Dzeko just looked to me like a foreign Peter Crouch, but with fancier boots.

Let's be honest for one minute, the only reason everyone's saying he's better than Bent is so their £27m can be justified.

I thought dzeko looked quality, admittedly man city seemed to dominate possession. I was impressed that with how mobile he was and was often found linking with midfield. In many ways his play was a lot more like tevez than I had imagined (I thought he was more of a target man...) to the point where they might actually get in each others way.

...and because he has a vowel on the end of his name. Johnny (sorry- Juan) foreigner is always better.

7 for finishing, 154 career goals in 363 games, surely that's worth at least an 8?
