Has to be.

We need to put in a decent performance.  If we get stuffed a lot of people are going to be laughing at us.

2 most hated teams currently in UK going head to head
Not sure why we've had such a backlash over Bent ??

Because we've bought a good player for a lot of money and made a lot of journalists previous expert analyisis of Aston Villa totally redundant. I bet they also hate the fact they can't work Randy Learner out and can't get near him for an interview. Funny, they don't seem to grumble much about Abramovich. Scared of concrete boots perhaps.

As for fans of other clubs, the top boys couldn't care less and the rest are envious at the sudden outlay of such significant funds.

I'd go with that line up.

You would hope with a new striker playing and JM being paraded in front of the crowd, we would get a big crowd. Plus the trolls who like to abuse Barry and Milner will come out from under their bridges!

Hoping Bent will inspire us on his home debut a'la Dean Saunders in 1992. 4-2 anyone?

It's amazing the way one signing and one statement of real intent can lift a whole club. I expect a full house, a rocking holte end and a fair chance of a win. I think the players will be well up for this.

Go on, 2-1 villa. The recovery starts here (well it started when we bought Bent).
