It'll be accepted if he wants to go.

I thought this 2nd post on Small Heath Alliance was actually quite funny.

£18m to Vile. Wonder if Houlier will play him on the wing too.

I drew a drawing of you after last time I saw you, I never felt to draw a picture like that before. I learned a lot about myself drawing all morning, It was absolutely shit, I'm awful at drawing.

Pages:123›Message ListKaje13:00, Monday 17 January 2011That'd be a fantastic piece of business for us. He hasn't really broken into the team whilst on loan at Wolves, so if Houllier is happy to fork out for him then I say sell him and use the money ASAP.

Oh...wait...

according to sky reporter at bodymoor it has been accepted, was rejected but when bent told them he wanted to go they accepted the bid reluctantly, although sky move the goalposts all the time , they change their story every few minutes.

He'd definitely be a good signing for us, excellent news.

Where was this money for MON? I presume that's why he left?

Looks like Downing could be off as well, a good news day all round!

During the down time here popped over to VT. Interesting post on there

"Also what was interesting was that something was on the cards last August but Sunderland managed to keep him happy for the time being.

Shows also that MON didn't leave because a lack of funds.......it was a row over wage demands & accountability. MON wanted complete control or else."The else" being carried through when it actually wasn't expected to be accepted quite so easily."

I think the price is somewhat irrelevant.  The main thing is we will be bringing in a high quality player that has a good record of notching up Premier league goals.  I'm all for it.

It will be interesting to see how Houllier plans on utilising Gabby, Emile and Bent.  I hope he doesn't persist in shifting Gabby out on the wing where he is completely wasted.  Where has the talk of Downing going the other way stemmed from?

Would you have trusted him with it?  I wouldn't have left him alone with my lunch money.

If he does take over at Wrist Ham, we should make a £15m bid for Parker, wait for the dildo sellers to accept and then withdraw it.  Just to piss him off.

david craig at sunderland said bent wanted to go in august but they persuaded him to stay, at least him asking to leave makes it easier to sell him and they are getting a fair price , great signing.

I'm trying not to get excited just yet, I struggle to see this going through just as its Houllier making this happen, or trying too!  Lets hope that it happens, its it does...my word.  A top signing.  Since 2005 only 2 other strikers have scored more goals than Darren...nuff said.

Apparently if you follow what the Chairman and Chief Exec want you to do, and who share the same vision, you get money. I don't the goals of the club have changed, and we will end up selling a number of our older higher wage players between now and the summer. But we''ll replace them with top quality players worthy of those salaries and very promising kids.

What exactly does that mean? So far he's wanted five players, signed three of them and another failed a medical.
