Done it.

For what it's worth I don't think a salary cap is workable as the different currency rates and, more importantly, tax rates in different countries would lead to huge disparities. Monaco already have a massive advantage over the rest of the French League as they don't pay any tax even though they are a poxy club that struggles to fill a 15,000 capacity stadium.

Done, but what you have to realise is that in answering these questions is that there is no room to qualify our answers by which I mean that by agreeing to something could make you think that this person is a one-eyed, see nothing wrong with his own club but everything wrong with everyone else's type of individual if you get my drift. I'll get back into me claret and blue box now!  ;)

Done.  As much as I'd like to see it imposed (even if it resulted in lower quality players from overseas) it will never happen.  It would take the complete financial meltdown of the Premiership for any capping measures to be considered.

Ok I completed the survey.

I now wonder, however, what has happened to our education system if footballer salaries can form the basis of a Univeristy (sic) Dissertation and be based on the results of a multiple choice questionnaire posted on this and probably other websites.  I hope there is more to it.

I sincerely hope that you gain the requisite qualification, but I do question both the relevance and the research methodology.

Haha there is a lot more to it, it is a research project, im trying to discover fans opinions towards a salary cap and looking to see if they differ depending on the club a fan supports.

Thanks for all the responses, reached my target now which is great, just need to record them all now, long process.

Thanks again.

Done. Good luck with your studies.

Which university are you at? I went to Leicester and I think they had a football related program if my memory serves me right.
