Blackburn Rovers FA Cup
« on: January 13, 2011, 04:52:23 PM »
According to their website it's Saturday 29th January at 1pm.  Prices for tickets haven't been announced and moved to early kick off due to Villa and Small Heath being at home on the same day.

No idea why we have had to move and presumably them lot stay at 3pm !!!!!!

Thanks a lot whoever decided that

Didn't somebody mention that who ever is pulled from the hat first gets preference? So that's probably why we will have to move kick off times.

Can't see the ko time making much difference with any trouble on that day.

Is it confirmed that Blues V Coventry is later the same day?

This is madness. They both hate us, the even lower ticket prices for a 1pm KO will bring out all of our worst idiots, and give them 2 hours extra to get drunker and dafter than Blues and Cov's worst idiots.

Nightmare!

1pm kick off FFS, that means I can't make it.

My lad is playing in the morning in Cheltenham, 3pm can be a bit of a rush but 1 o'clock I've got no chance.

Amfy, yes it is. I suppose the thinking is that their game will kick off just after ours finishes and the police can spread resources and get our lot out of the way while their game is going on.

We have the same thing. My boy plays for a team in Macclesfield. 3pm is just do-able. Think I'll let him miss his match this time.

Tickets £20 cheapest, bit daft that. Should have been £10 or £15 at most. Expect crowd of 25,000 at best considering how many times we've played each other recently and early kick off.

All very well, but I can see trouble in the City centre pubs after.
It's a strange decision.

I think it will end in tears for the Police the matches should have been on different days and a 3pm ko for them is madness.
