Has he definitely signed?
No

but it's very close by all accounts. Mind you we thought that about Fofana and Milner - part 2. Don't count yer chickens, but it is promising.

Gerard Houllier admits the £7million price tag on Jean Makoun is likely to put the Lyon midfielder out of Aston Villa's reach.
Villa manager Houllier is keen to sign the 27-year-old Cameroon international but the Frenchman is standing his ground over a fee.
He said: 'There is dialogue going on at the moment. But the price is too high and we'll do what is right for the club.'
