ITV football coverage.
« on: January 08, 2011, 11:14:28 PM »
Once again after being forced to watch ITV I am disillusioned with the paucity of their football highlights.

How can they get it so wrong?  The punditry is so basic it'd make Joe Cole look insightful and the analysis is rushed, the games are cut too short and the commentary sounds like it has been super imposed after the event.  How long is their contact with the FA for?

Biggest match of day, real giantkilling, gets about 5 minutes, then 5 more of inane punditry.

It really is crap from start to finish. They're even using the same shit graphics as last season.

There should be legislation to stop them covering football.

I just don't like it. Appreciate they've got a lot of games to get through so probably have to shorten the highlights of each game.

Still don't like it though.

Hate the graphics. Really cheapen the cup.

I find it very ammusing. The highlight for me was when the commentator said "Neil Mellor headed in Wednesday's 2nd. But you'll just have to take my word for it as the camera man missed it."

Was just thinking the same - no way that is HD compared to the clarity you get on Sky

Because it was mentioned enough about the shitty comic strip looks last year. They obviously can't afford to change them yearly any more.

as bad as the bbc covering the bdo darts... "i know what would be a great camera angle, lets take a camera shot of a black background as the player lifts the dart and just about catch the flight, and then show nothing of where the dart actually hit the board!"...

genius...
