Tranmere at Villa Park - Coca Cola League Cup Semi Final, February 1994... I loved that game, still gives me the shakes.

I would have to say the same, twisted my ankle celebrating but hobbled home afterwards.

Same for me.  That game had everything.

The 3-2 against Arsenal when we came back from the dead was great as well.

Has anyone mentioned the 3-2 win at Sheff Wed?

Tranmere for me too i'm afraid. Sat in the front row of the Trinity road and it literally rocked.
It was especially sweet after the first leg - the London Lions hired a minibus to go up there - that was a long old trip to stand on that muddy hill in the fog and get abused/pelted by the lovely children of the wirral on the way out.

For atmosphere (60K+) it has to be Southampton FAC4 replay in 1968. we won 2-1. Incredible night.

I dont know if anyone's mentioned it yet - i certainly didnt earlier - but the 1994 home match with Inter is up there as well. An amazing game, the last truly great moment of BFR's exciting period as manager. The atmosphere was just as loud as Tranmere that night despite the attendance being down 10,000 or so on the Tranmere match.

The obvious 6-4 LC semi-final
Arsenal 2-2 on Boxing Day 2008 or 3-3 at home to Everton in the same season.
And beating Coventry last home game of 2001, 2 down at ht, only to come roaring back to win it, was only 8 at the time aswell but can still see Merse's goal as clearly as any this season.

Home game - Tranmere Semi Final had everything you would want other than a punch up and a couple of sendings off.

Away game - so many to choose from but Sheffield Wednesday for Rons return, electric.

Tranmere without a doubt. If I could go back and relive any Villa moment I was at, it would when Dalian scored. Probably the last great terrace mental in the country. I get close to welling up whenever I think of it. Big girls blouse that I am!!

The one thing that always makes my spine tingle about the Young goal at Everton is when he wheels away after scoring and he can see his teammates coming over and he waves his hand as if to say 'Don't, this is just too good a feeling to share' and his teammates have no other option than to follow him.
