I'm just happy we're scoring 6 in 3 games now.

The penalty gave them a lift but after the substitutions we were all over them and created several chances then the sending off brought them back into it again. Both were very harsh decisions but it seems to be the way things are going for us at the moment. All in all though a good solid win.

Is the right answer. It should have been easy second half but the penalty was nonsense and we weathered it very well after that. Would have been better to be several goals out of sight but again we don't get the breaks - Petrov was unlucky when played in as that was a top drawer save. Only poor strategy was replacing Bannan and not NRC with Downing.
Walker was good and maybe this win will turn the corner for us.

The videos don't work on my iphone. Never mind. Cheers anyway.

I'll watch the highlights later to see if they really were sick.

This time last year, we just about squeezed past struggling Crystal Palace on route to a semi final appearance. Games like this can be tough. Delighted to get through.

ok we won.  but if we had been playing anyone else of a better calliber than sheff united such as leeds we would of lost that game.
Totally irrelevant.
We did enough to beat a poor Championship side.
THE THING IS WE DIDNT PLAY ANY BETTER THAN WE DID AGAINST SUNDERLAND,  ONLY THING IS THAT THE OPPONENTS WE POOR,  IF WE PLAY LIKE THAT ON SUDNAY WE ARE FUCKED, BUT I HOPE WE DO AND THAT WAY HOULLIER GETS THE SACK.

PS.  HOULLIER WAS TOLD TO SIGN THAT PLAYER BY THE SCOUTS,  HOULLIER CANT TAKE THE CREDIT

That is squarely the shittest post I've ever read on here. You must be the world's first surviving brain donor.

Really difficult game, away in the cup, and I have to say I thought we played pretty well (although I we could do fine without Pires!). Some good goals and I thought further evidences in the goals we scored of Houllier's methods paying some dividends.

Young was an idiot for getting sent off, Walker made a very promising start to his time at Villa, NRC looked a bit ropey, Dunne was good again, Albrighton was very good, so all in all I don't think we could ask for too much more. Well done all round, in my view.

so am i,
but only 1 from the centre forwards, we desperatley need a striker who can score some goals,

we have some great young players coming through, which is why i think we'l be ok in the end,
but we still need someone up front, the ones we have at the moment collectivly are no better than average

Didn't watch the game due to work but was keeping tabs with it on the sky sports app on the iPhone. The app had bannan at left back. Clarke centre mid with young on the left, pires on the right and albrighton with gabby upfront. Is that right? Is is whoever doin the line up on the app just bored and thought he'd have a laugh? If it's true, fair play cuz it worked but that does seem a bit messed up.

The also seem to be using he words, lofted, hoofed, long searching ball and clearance a lot in their commentary. Was it really like thAt?

I see Ashley Young got red card. What are the reasons ? Diving or moaning at referee ?

Albrighton's was a text book MON goal. Petrov's was a bit special though. As for Walker's, that's what you get when you have a player full of confidence.

Here for a start

You got a link that says Spurs signed him for just two years?
