Richard, that is one of the reasons why the Post-Match thread was split into two parts a few seasons ago (I cannot remember the exact titles), but it was condensed back in to one after numerous complaints.

Of course Leeg, just fed up with self-indulgent arguments which take over and really have nothing much to do with the game in question. Also they just end up being yet another thread on whether we should keep Houllier or not...

There are a lot of people that need to get a grip.

It's obvious that most of the senior players don't want to play for GH.

It's obvious that most of the senior players are & where due to be overhauled anyway.

It's obvious the junior players are keen to play for GH.

It's obvious the team will not click until enough senior players have been brought in by GH.

It seems a few would rather keep the lazy useless players, that have suddenly forgotten what a football is and what position they used to be good at and get rid of the manager.

I'd rather get rid of the lazy useless players and see what the next crop of Villa players can do for the team.

Couldn't agree more Neil. That is the ONLY way we will ever compete with the big boy's unless Randy sells to some Emirate state's head.

i dont get how something that is good is labelled as "sick", by the young wippersnappers....

bloody kids..

Oh, so you have to reverse everything to be down with the kids?

In that case it was a wank goal.

The game was live down here. Yes we made hard work of it but when we did play it was good stuff against a motivated bunch. Typical cup tie.

Walker looks a real talent and of course he knows a few of our own youngsters playing for England. He really plays without fear. I hope he carries on that way. Or rather, I hope we let him.

Pires is honestly a waste of oxygen and cancerous in that dressing room too. Apparently.

Great result. Sorry, let me do that again: GREAT RESULT! Maybe that plonker will hear me if I shout too.

Petrov goal - Clicky
I liked no 2 and 3 the most - as much as the 1st was out of nothing, the 2 others were great attacking movements.

Can't believe a few of the comments. We've just won yet a few people still have to put a depressive slant on it. If it boosts confidence then who cares?

Walker is out of contract in the summer? Nice.

I heard Cummings needs a permit or some sort of document to play?

Isn't there some sort of fiddle on permits and EU employment law where if they are from a former colony you can get them in?

Or is the fiddle just to do with the movement of goods rather than people?
