HT. 2-0 yet we've really quite average. Right now, we'll take it.

what's wrong with Clark at LB he looks good on the ball
He's too good to play at left back.
Centre back or defensive midfielder I reckon.

For sure. Next season.

Playing him there for the next six months will save us money on Wayne bloody Bridge. Nice guy too. Came over for photos after the Sunderland game.

I'd rather have Clark at left back over Bridge any day of the week.

Doubly so if it allows us to spend more elsewhere.

The blades just had a good penalty shout apparently

It was as much a penalty as Chelsea's last Sunday, i.e. not one at all.

Doing what we need too I guess. Would like to see Gabby get one to instill a little bit of confidence. Pires has done little, but we do need to give him more of the ball if he is going to play.

Aren't you supposed to be the happy one?!

It's one of those matches where you just have to do enough to win.  We've scored two great goals, not conceded any, which after the last few weeks is a miracle in itself!

The 2nd half is now all about playing well and getting confidence up for the next game. We shouldn't just see this out, we should go out to play some good football and maybe score another goal or two.

Just watched the entire first half perfectly on http://veetle.com/index.php/channel/view#4d20943d9e3d5

Not too shabby considering we are playing with 10 men.

Yes, average is much, much better than the utter guff we were served up on Wednesday night.

Just get through the tie, that's the important thing.

Hmmmm. I wonder what kind of in-play price I'd get on 2-2 right now.

Two great goals, hopefully we'll keep a clean sheet, give the defence some much needed confidence
