morning submariner- cant believe that cheatin aussie phil hughes yesterday -disgrace , hope you see a villa win before we roll over the convicts later tonight.

I think he just got a bit excited when everyone else around him jumped up, plus in that split second I don't think he knew either way if he caught it or not. Besides, we can hardly say that Hughes was a disgrace after what happened with Bell!
Slight difference. They cheated, we  used the rules to our advantage.  Not in the spirit of the game, but that went out the window when they started cheating.

Not quite - Bell knew he edged that, but the players also know that when it's above a certain temperature in the middle (I believe over 30c) then any slight nick on the bat will not show up on hotspot. It's just the same as what happened with Clarke up at the Gabba in the first test and has evened itself out.

If we're gonna leave Gabby on the wing get Fonz on for him. We'll win it with his movement and bit of guile.

Is that post meant to be in the conundrum thread?

Call me foolhardy...or even an utter twat... but I have a strong feeling Emule is going to bury one of those chances tonight.

Swop gabby and young over. Gabby is wasted out wide.
