I think it was good man management. Dunne was playing badly and rightly got dropped. he has been given another chance by the Manager and looks like he has a point to prove.

I remember one of the issues with MO'N was that he never dropped players when they were playing badly, so well done Gerrard.

He was overweight and underperforming. So the manager dropped him from the team. Now he has lost weight and performed better in training. So the manager has given him a new chance. Sounds reasonable to me.

Its good that we have a manager that will do that. For a few weeks I thought maybe GH had a soft spot for Dunne and would not drop him. He did and it looks as if it had given Dunne a kick up the arse.
He was good last season so if he can capture that form it can only be good for Villa.
