Cuellar at right back is a nonsense. It wasnt right last season when he gave away the ball consistently and it isnt right now either. I thought Beye had solid games v Sunderland and Chelsea so hard to know what he has done wrong. He is decent in the air too which neither Luke Young nor Warnock are. With the state of things at present I'd be tempted to take the younger players out of the firing line and bring them in and out. Selling Carew to West Brom in January is utter madness. Id actually give him another chance. He has been our top scorer the last three seasons At the moment with Luke Young fit Id go for the following. A big strong EPL side that wont be ran through with a last chance saloon warning to Carew in particular but also Dunne, Beye - actually the most of them. Do they want to spend the rest of their careers playing in front of 15k for the like of Wigan or Bham or 38k chasing a Euro place at Villa Park.

Friedel
Beye, Cuellar, Dunne, L Young
A Young, Reo Coker, Delph, Downing
Carew, Heskey

Interesting focus on first names there pongo!

My line up would be:

---------------------Friedel-------------------------
Lichaj ----  Cuellar----Dunne----L Young
----------Petrov---- NRC----Delph---------
Albrighton-------------------------- AYoung
------------------Agbonlahor----------------

Sybs:
Guzan
Collins
Warnock
Bannan
Downing
Heskey
Delfoenso

The only change I would make to this side would be Lichaj. I would put L.Young back on the right and Warnock on the left.
Lichaj has a lot of potential, but he reminds me a little of Ridgewell when he played for us...He's a penalty waiting to happen.
Now if he'd been around has long as Neville then he could get away with a lot of it, but a raw unknown kid? the ref's wont think twice about it..
