I don't think I'm overreacting when I say that Houllier is shaping up to be the worst manager we've ever had.  He has to fall on his sword after this.

it's also adding to MON's stock that he is some sort of miracle worker able to get the most out of what he had or acquired, irrespective of what he paid and was paying in wages. I want to give GH every chance in the world to succeed, and the available options are horrific to contemplate. But there has to be some forward momentum and right now we are shipping goals like the club has already accepted the inevitable.

I have been very steadfast in support of Houllier, the situation, the injuries, the timing of the departure of Martin O'Neill. I just think not giving Houllier chance to at least bring 3-4 players of his own in to try and sort it and build would be shortsighted.

Plus I don't want Allardyce!

Shortsighted, you be blind giving Houiller a penny, he is clueless. Fuck injuries, fuck players not wanting to play. There is a team in that squad better than getting stuffed 3-0 today and winning two games in 20?

Look on the bright side. At least Man Cty won't be taking any more players from us.

I am seeing alarming similarties between Villa this season and the Newcastle team the season they went down, there is a poison at the club whether this is the manager or the players, its all wrong they are not playing for each other and there is no fight for the cause. So many players just look like they want out and the confidence of the younger lads is being effected because of it.

It is a shambles.

What a shit Christmas.

Defeat to Spurs, humiliation at Man City, worse to come at Chelsea and the Doctor Who Christmas special was an incomprehensible pile of shit.

Last replacement i would want is allardyce, Jol was the overwhelming winner of the Poll for next manager prior to Houllier being appointed, he is now available, make the decision NOW and get him in before we go down, i think i would prefer to give JOL the transfer window to do some deals over Houllier.

Oh well, the way things stand we could at least have some West Midlands derbies in the Championship next season.

What he said ... although if you offered Jol I'd have to think about it.
