Ron Atkinson signed for us as a 17 year old but never made the 1st team.
He moved on a free transfer to Oxford United (then called Headington United) in 1959.

Although not a player, Doug left in 1979 and came back in 1982.

I'm clutching at straws but the management team of Brian Little, Allan Evans and John Gregory had all previously played for Villa.

Yes, I'm sure it was Turner who re-signed them.

Marshall - technically. Released then re-signed.

There must be loads but I'm struggling.

If you include players and managerial staff you can claim... Ron Atkinson, Brian Little, Andy Gray (again), John Gregory, Allan Evans, Mark Walters, Mark Delaney, Graham Taylor, Eric Houghton, Vic Crowe.

Rinder and of course Doug had more than one spell on the board.
