There was no snow forecast for the Redditch area, it was supposed to miss us, then we had 5 or 6 inches. So I'm with the club here, wait and see then clear whats left cause as far as I can see, the weathermen have as much idea as where the snow will fall as Ireland has motivation for playing for Villa.

I've a feeling it will go ahead now, no more snow forecast and Sky will pressurise Villa to make sure the game is on

1-2 defeat, Spurzzzz currently a league above us, they'll punish our porous defence, late winner Defoe

Either it'll be played and we'll be defeated, or it'll be postponed, and then we'll be defeated when it's played. So that's a defeat, 0-2.

Aye. Never had it. And you're a mug if you do, especially when you consider they get much better coverage abroad for less money. You can sit down and watch any of the saturday kick-offs live on some of their foreign subscription services while the people who pay for thier empire can't.

You can also get off your arse and go to watch the team you support.
You can if you can afford it, which isn't as easy as it was pre sky. Does it make you any less of a supporter if you cant afford to go to matches?

You can afford Sky but not go to the matches, hmmm. Sky subscription per year - say £40 per month x 12 = £480 or a season ticket, mine was less than £400.

If its on 3-2 Villa...    I think it could be on..

my girlfriend who is small  ( but fit ) has cleared the big drive today for me as the car was sliding while going up the drive. A little muscle, hot water and snow scraper she tells me , a  bloody good job..       so get some men/ stewards /volunteers  down VP clearing the pavements  etc and it should be ok....   whats the bloody point in having over soil heating nowaday.

Juan, just to be sure the match goes ahead, send your missus to help clear the snow.

Thanks for the economics lesson. Can you point out where I said I could afford sky though?

According the the press, yes, he is.

According to G-Hou at the pre-match press conference today it's unclear. Ashley hasn't trained this week but he could do some over tomorrow and Chrismtas Day.
