I was overcharged 35p in my local corner store the other day. Bet that had more of an affect on me financially at the moment than losing £100k did on JC...

Carew (can he be bothered) or any other player, the money we pay these lads and how they generally blow it is absolutely disgusting. I mean Habib and his Red Stallion etc etc.

If I lost a 100k I would probably be a little peed off because it would take me some months ;) to save it. Not these young lads.

The clubs pay 80% of turnover, that's turnover, gross,  in salaries to compete and you guys who pay for your tickets (like wot I used to) pay for it.

There is something very wrong with this business. I suppose TV is the real criminal here.

I dunno, when Charlie Aitken bust his guts for the shirt I could support him for his effort. He earned sort of what I did. Now?

Monopoly money for these players, and the old adage that 'they have a small window to earn" no longer applies when with proper investment they are set up for life.

No sympathy from me. Sorry. What was said? TIT. Perfect. Had it with this lot. Really have.

Cracking rant Simba. Er, as an aside - was it you who died at the end of The Lion King? Always forget.

Blimey Eamonn, I can't remember either. Must have been a stunt double.

Nah, that's Scar. Mufasa dies about halfway through. Your Disney knowledge is a disgrace. Hang your head in shame.

I once dealt with a Coventry City player who had had £120.000 taken from his current account without realising it!!!

was it Freddie Eastwood , as his credit card declined the other day...
