Dunne dropped! He's on the bench, Cuellar, Lichaj, Bannan, heskey and Ash come in for Dunne, Young, Clark, Gabby and Ireland (who isn't in the squad)

Playing Cuellar instead of Dunne is a good move, especially as I think it will show how much Collins has been doing lately. If he only has to worry about his job, he'll be a lot better.

My main hope is that Cueller can maintain his good form from earlier in the season. He shouldn't have been dropped at all, so I'm hoping he's mentally right. Because if he starts dropping clangers, we could be in trouble. If he does, I'd put it squarely on how Houllier has managed that situation. After how Carlos performed against Wolves, it's downright bizarre for him to get dropped.

I like that team though. Glad BB is back. Heskey back means that this system might work a bit better, just as long as Emule is fit enough.

I did think we'd get turned over today, but I'm changing my mind now. Hopefully Carlos can steady the ship. Lichaj is good going forward and surely can't defend worse than Luke Young has done in recent weeks.

Ash as captain, I am hoping will make him up his game. The skipper factor can often have a positive effect on players, and boost their games a bit more. When fat Barry was made skipper, his overall game seemed to go up by another 10%. Right now we need Ash delivering to the best of his ability.

Ireland not even in the squad?

Doesn't deserve to be, to be honest.

Dont think Dunne can have any complaints. Is Habib Beye injured?

Thought Ireland had a decent enough second half against Liverpool though maybe he is 'ill' again. Cant see Heskey going too well as a lone centre forward and our midfield is as weak as piss.

This.
The guy has been piss poor, and the lack of effort is the most concerning thing.
Doesn't deserve to be, to be honest.
