Kev Mac should've been given the job, the players love him, I think most of us like him! We had one awful game but other than that looked solidly good, scoring and threatening teams.

He wasn't up to the job, much as I like the fella. I know Houllier's taking the club down the shitter but I think we all thought we were getting somebody more suited to the job at the time.

He would have given them runs in the side, especially when he coached them on a daily basis.

The pass and move style houllier prefers will never work with these players - mons teams were totally different style and never the twain shall meet- he would need to build a totally new team and I do not think the money is there for that- what now mr Lerner?
From LFCs os;He told his post-match press conference: "The fans were good. I appreciated the fact that they chanted my name at the end. It shows they can remember."There was also a banner at the start of the game. I was not emotional but I was extremely touched by that."He added: "It's difficult to say but I prefer to lose 3-0 to Liverpool because I like Liverpool.
