Martin jol quit Ajax- if doug was here I'd expect him to sack houllier and get jol- I doubt Lerner will do so!

Houllier can do a job here given time and money , if the money is not there then we are in trouble and need leadership.

Stuff the browns- aston villa need a chairman totally commited to Aston villa alone- show us the money mr Lerner !

What concerened me more tonight other than the way we played in the first half, was the sight of Houiller and McCallister both sat on the bench shivering, looking as if they wanted to be somewhere else. I want a manager with passion on the touchline screaming at his players, not trying to keep warm.

From LFCs os;

He told his post-match press conference: "The fans were good. I appreciated the fact that they chanted my name at the end. It shows they can remember.

"There was also a banner at the start of the game. I was not emotional but I was extremely touched by that."

He added: "It's difficult to say but I prefer to lose 3-0 to Liverpool because I like Liverpool.

I don't think the board would make a snap decision based on tonight's result - they seem to value contracts and a man's word which is to their credit.

However, for my money I'd much rather see Jol in the post than Houllier. But I don't run the club.

100% with you son.

WBA Saturday will be a farce. We'll soon be welcoming back to the good old days when we were sh1t.

If Houllier was a car he'd be a beige Allegro, if he was food he'd be some dog sh1t on a piece of stale bread.
If he was a record he'd be something by Milli Vanilli after everybody realised that they were miming because like him they were a pair of wankers.......

Look on the bright side, he's in the North West and if he goes to see Blackpool he may get run over by a tram, like Allan Bradley did.

F*ck him

Well that post cheered me up! :)

The hatred I have for Liverpool was mainly based on the regular 3-0 defeats Villa suffered at their hands in the 90's. So 3-0 to Liverpool as a scoreline is not something I can laugh off.

How much time do we give him and how much money?

Where were we after 16 matches under MON in his first season?

What I wouldn't give to call him into my office in the morning for a debrief. You would be scraping him off the ceiling for that....

MON may not have been the best manager but never once were we facing the situation we face now! :-[

3 years at 6th place knocking on the door of the top 4, we were moving in the right direction.

We've gone 100 steps backwards in 3 months! Houllier has lost the plot, the team hasn't bought into his ideas or tactics, if he has even tried implementing any.

His grudge with Carew has to end, the big man may not be in form but for heaven's sake he is better than Stephen Ireland!

Kev Mac should've been given the job, the players love him, I think most of us like him! We had one awful game but other than that looked solidly good, scoring and threatening teams.

The only 2 positives Houllier has brought is that he's given Super Marc and Barry extended runs in the squad to prove they belond. Unfortunately it doesn't mean shit without results. Oh and any praise for him by giving them a run in the squad went out the window when he signed Pires.

Houllier do the respectful thing, admit your clueless and leave. We'll cope better with the fans running the team.

For that, and that alone, go.
