Ireland is a very unlucky charm, has he contributed from starting a game to us winning, Everton at home??

Nothing to do with luck. He's the worst player i've seen at the Villa since the Djemba twins!

What a totally rubbish half...Liverpool look like they've declared already. Not a single chance worthy of the name...what's very worrying is that Hodgson looks more animated about the state of the game than Houllier does...

Utter, utter, utter disgrace

WE ARE IN A RELEGATION FIGHT FOLKS

Clark, the next Platt, don't make me laugh!

Warnock, Dunne, Collins and Ireland - just PISS OFF RIGHT NOW, GO ON, AT HALF TIME, JUST PISS OFF

This is worryingly bad. We look relegation fodder.

- Every other pass is backwards.
- Awful defending for both goals.
- Albrighton and Downing have predictably had no influence since swapping sides.
- Clark looks very much out of his depth in midfield.

I'm a bit shocked as to how poor we've been. The lack of fight, belief and confidence is going to have to be sorted or we really are in a whole heap of shit based on that performance.

Houllier had better deliver the mother of all bollockings at half time, if he can tear himself away from the Liverpool fans that is.
He'll probably sneak of early for a wank in the home dressing room

I give up. To those enduring the rest of this tripe: I admire your bravery.

ps- those poor fuckers who've actually travelled into Liverpool to watch this shite!

We deserve better.

Sad to be wondering how we're going to get to 40 points again. O'****** must be laughing his balls off.

Do you think Houllier will give a team talk, or do you think he'll be spending half-time hugging employees, past and present, of Liverpool Football Club?

He'll be in the clubshop, stocking up on scarves and merchandise.
Tourist. Happy just to be there.

He was talking about this fixture soon after he was appointed -unprompted, I might add.
Tonight when it's out of the way I wonder what his motivation for the rest of the season will be.

No hyperbole, but that was as bad as I've seen the Villa play, given that the team we're playing against is cack.  we've made them look like Brazil.

I'm not one for scapegoating, but I never want to see that twat Ireland pull on our shirt again.

And he can fuck back off to the frozen north in the same car as Dunne and Warnock.

I regret to say that this is a mis-match. It's pitiful to watch. If only the Villa players had just a little of the first-touch skills that Liverpool have, they might have made a game of it. But they haven't.

What I wouldn't give to see our defenders playing a bit of "hoof ball" now.
