Can't defend at all. Can't score. We're fucked. Irelands anonymous again. Gabby's not right, but also not good enough with his feet to play Houlliers style and system on his own. Too inexperienced, and our supposedly experienced backline looks fooking woeful.

God help us. If we were a horse, we'd get taken to a dark stable and given one shotgun shell to the brain.

I am going to see Madness in Brum on Saturday. The original plan was for that to be a gig in the evening, but now it looks more likely as a home defeat to the Baggies in the afternoon.

Warnock desperately tried to give it away to Kuyt there.

Dunne and Warnock and Kuyt gets past both with ease. Is that any surprise.

Feels like a testimonial.

Reckon they'll let us away with a 2-0 defeat?
If we've kept it to two by the end of the 90 minutes that might actually qualify as a decent result for this lot.

Dunne's about as mobile as a wardrobe in that back four.

I dont often write our team off, but we look so poor I really do fear for us, its ok saying we have lots of injuries because we do, the problem with this is when the players start to come back our form will be so bad it wont be enough to rescue us, this is just horrific to watch.

For all our injuries, we still have a nearly fully fit defence and yet it is here that we are being badly let down.

This is starting to remind me of O'leary's last season at Villa, attempting to play passing football but with no spine in the team and some truly abysmal defending.
