That really was like going back to the 80's tonight.

I'm surprised nothing has been mentioned about the astonishing scenes at half-time when Villa and Blues were literally fighting each other for the duration of the interval.

And by all accounts it was kicking off all through Digbeth after the game, with fighting breaking out and Villa launching bins through pub windows etc.

Oh, and it was Villa who launched (several) flares.

What's going on?
I thought we should all sit together and be nicey-nicey friends.

Cloud fucking cuckoo land.

Do the trouble happens in every derby match ? Is it all at St Andrews or both at Villa Park and St Andrews.

Do Small Heath fans cause trouble in other opposition match ie West Brom or Everton

A few guys I spoke to this morning claim they definitely saw the flare come from the Blose fans first into the away end and was then thrown on from there.

Not that it's the crux of the issue but still, just thought I'd share that.
Dont really understand all this eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, bog for a bog nonsense either.
What is it about toilets? Are they considered the enemy base or something?
"Yes!We've only gone and destroyed their toilets! We're on their manor, taking the piss!"

The toilets in the away end were being trashed before the game.  I mean, why bother ?

My mate (a nose) said he saw a firework being chucked towards the Villa fans on the Cov Road after the game.

I notice Ipswich fans didn't invade the pitch...

Watching the footage, it didn't look like they invaded the terraces either ?  How many were there ?  A couple of hundred ?

I know it's not funny, and I really shouldn't laugh, but I watched on SSN last night two Blues fans try and throw a pallett over a wall at the Villa fans. They failed miserably.

does it matter, both fans should not be taking these flares into the game in the first place... Hope they are named and banned for life...

2 things for me:
- they have to get proper segregation of fans at the Sty - you can't have home fans sitting above the away end! It's ridiculous.
- The radio commentator said that alll the police were amassing at the away end, 5 minutes from time. Surely they should have been fronting up to the home fans to avoid the pitch invasion.

Hold on a sec... It was the noses that threw the flares, the villa fans threw them back.  What was the alternative?  Get burnt so as not to seem culpable?
