Most Olympic sprinters are very muscular so I dont see it being that big a deal.
But they'll know best at Bodymoor how his training is affecting him.

He needs pace and strength. He has them in abundance.

Gabby needs to e able to turn though, sprinters do not.

I think it's a good thing. Can't think of many top class footballers who are his size in the upper body. Seems logical that there is a point where the trade off between power and movement is too great like in any sport. Think of Calzaghe giving Jeff Lacey a hiding.

Have you seen the size of Michael Richards this season, he was too big last season and seems to have put on another stone.

Muscle ways heavier than fat so maybe he could lose a bit.

True enough.
I dont think he's anywhere near big enough to lose that much agility though.
Not weighed against the benefits from overpowering defenders and holding the ball up.

I dont want him to get any bigger (and neither does his manager) but in these days of a single striker you need to be an all rounder to be really effective.

So 1lb of muscle weighs more than 1lb of fat? Could be a Nobel Prize in it for you if you can prove that one  :)
