Millwall v Bloose.  All police leave cancelled!

A nose I know drove down to the play off decider there when there was a bit of trouble outside, the coppers wouldn't let him get his car as they couldn't guarantee his safety, they put him on the train and he had to go back the next day to get it.

Torquay v Carlisle
Norwich v Droylsden/Leyton Orient
Watford v Hartlepool/Yeovil
Burton v Middlesbrough
Wycombe v Hereford/Lincoln
Crawley/Swindon v Derby
Huddersfield v Dover
Brighton/FC United of Manchester v Portsmouth

These  not so lucrative  draws are a no reward for the hard work smaller teams have put in to get this far. I think the FA Cup 3rd round, and only this round, should be seeded.
The 64 teams should be ranked 1 to 64 in order based on the League  position  at the end of previous season and  1 should play 64  with 2 playing  63 and so on.  Coin toss should decide home or away  to be sorted between Clubs.

So based on that idea FC United (if they get through) would have to play Chelsea - what's fair about that for their hard work to date? Guaranteed to get knocked out in a competition biased in favour of the PL teams. They could get a less challenging tie and maybe get through to the next round. Or is it all just about money not the 'magic' of the third round anymore?

Never. Seeding for the FA Cup?. I cannot believe you would ever consider it. Have you no  sense of history or a memory of the upsets.  Can you understand the dreams fulfilled of players, I dunno, who played their hearts out for Hereford. Wimbledon. For example.

This is the FA Cup - you can't change it. It is truly the one Cup that gives the little guys a chance. A very English competition. Money?Oh come one. It means nothing.

No, please leave this alone. It works.

Think about it? Have a look at the faces  of Dover players when they heard  they are away at Huddersfield or the jubilation and the supreme effort  at their replay   if  FC United players  already knew they will be playing Chelsea next instead of Portsmouth. It is not about money it's about fullfilling dreams and if you kave already played 4 or 5 rounds and you end up playing Carlisle when you could have played Aston Villa must be heart wrenching.

I appreciate your reasoning but to have the FA Cup biased in such a way in favour of the PL teams would be the end of football for me

Whoever suggests seeding, dose'nt really understand the F.A Cup at all.

As for our draw, it'll be tough, it was last time we played there.

Urgh, Sheffield Utd, another team I dislike. I still can't believe we lost to them in the 3rd round 5 years ago... they're not a very good team these days though - we're crap away from home so it would of been nice to have a home tie.

Millwall vs blose - that's a dream for both sets of the nicest fans you'll ever meet.

...I don''t think we have the squad to compete in the league and the cup.

Pity MON didn't share that view last season when he gambled and "lost" on all three fronts.

And year after year after year of mouthwatering finals between Man U and Chelsea.

I think you'll find Pompey got to the final last year.

He's talking about what would happen were the FA Cup to be seeded.
