General - does Richard Dunne wear an XXXL size shirt or a XXXXL shirt?
Whatever size it is, Houllier hands it to him.

General an appology from our manager is the least we can expect, his attitude tonight is that of a traitor, you  need to get your PR guys on this pretty dam quick

I wouldn't wait for an apology. Instant dismissal territory for me....

General

This is poor, The players don't seem to give a shit we were barely going through the motions, Im glad Torres & Gerrard weren't playin or we really would have been in the shit.

I don't know if the manager was waving to the liverpool supporters but if he was it was totally unacceptable

Here's the thing General... we are not the Cleveland Browns, lets be real - they're crap, but atleast they'll never have to be relegated and they get a good draft pick nearly every season because they're not very good - we're Aston Villa, we've got high expectations, relegation is just a complete no-go - when you're relegated, that's it whereas if you're the Cleveland Browns it's just ''oh well, another bad season atleast we'll get a good draft pick maybe we'll get 6 wins next season" - you don't really get punished if you have a bad season whereas will be punished for having a bad season. You've seen what has happened to Leeds and Forest, it can take years and years of rebuilding after being relegated - we can't afford to do that, we're not in a lucky position like the Cleveland Browns where they get a second chance every season, relegation is very punishing.

I don't care if I'm overreacting, these are my natural feelings I just feel so depressed right now. If we lose to the baggies fans WILL start to turn onto Houllier and that will make the situation even worse. Time to stop complaining about injuries, yes we've been dealt a bad hand but we've got to carry on - injuries isn't an excuse for losing 4 Premier League games in a row and in general, playing pathetic. We HAVE to win on Saturday otherwise it could get ugly.

Houllier waving to the Kop. Disgrace. Absolute disgrace!!!!!!

And now he's just thanked them for chanting his name.  Not a mention of the Villa fans.  Unbelievable.

Dear General. We can all understand why Gerard Houllier was appointed in the circumstances, but it was a mistake and will have to be corrected in order to avoid a very costly relegation.

General K,

sorry but this is a disgrace, Houllier has just thanked the Liverpool fans for singing his name and a banner and not acknowledged the Villa fans who spent their har earned to go and support the team. The man is an utter disgrace and doesn't give a flung about Aston Villa or it's supporters.

If Randy doesn't do something about this then he obviously doesn't feel the for the club like us supporters do. I have never been so angry about a manager than tonight and I have been defending him for weeks.

Unbelieveable disrespect for our fans

I trust he will have been sacked by this time tomorrow evening. I am sure the board are intelligent enough to realise this can't continue. I have every faith in them to wipe the floor with him after his disgusting behaviour tonight...

I have no problem with him being courteous enough to acknowledge the generous reception he recieved from the Liverpool fans, but to not mention the Villa fans who made the journey up the motorway to watch that shower of shit is downright disrespectful. For someone as experienced as him he should know better.

General

I hope the board meeting is interesting.  There are some difficult times ahead.  5 years in and this feels like the last year of Ellis's reign.

Sorry General i have defended Houllier the las weeks as he has been dealt a bad hand with injuries, but i cannot have another Manager at Aston Villa who doesn't respect our history and our supporters. He should not have nentioned their supporters and certainly shouldn't be waving to them. We are in deep trouble and the last thing we need is a manager who is not totally committed to the cause.

General,
I can handle a defeat, even against probably the worst Liverpool team in 30 odd years..but to have an Aston Villa manager act in the manner he did is unforgivable.

A total lack of respect shown to the club and its fans.

It might be a bit premature to say something like that but I can't help but think like that if we lose to the baggies...

Was never 100% by the Houllier appointment although I said I would give him my full backing, I really hope the board isn't wrong in this appointment because if they're Villa fans will just say ''I told you so''.
