General, he obviously has a great interview technique otherwise i'm at a loss to understand how he was appointed but could you please let the manager know that the relegation places aren't decided by alphabetical order?

Sorry General, but it's a plea rather than a question. Please pass on this message to Gerard Houllier: try to show at least 1/1000th of the pride you show in having once managed Liverpool, in managing Aston Villa. Thanks.

Agreed.  Making a point of touching the Anfield sign then waving at the Liverpool fans at the end is unbelievable behaviour General.  Please can you leave the manager in no doubt that that sort of behaviour is totally unacceptable.

Thirded. Please remind the manager he is a Villa Manager and not a Liverpool manager. Our fans had to travel and put up with an inept performance on show and yet get snubbed in favour of scouse fans from OUR manager.

I have to agree. I was in staunch support of giving Houllier the time he needed but after this, is it fickle of me to want him gone? This is not a view based on the performance, but of his apparent complete lack of respect for our club.

General,

Besides the injuries, these are well documented and everyone is aware of them....

What do you think is going wrong with us at the moment, our form has been terrible for a number of weeks. We cannot keep saying we have played well but not got the results, tonight was an awful performance whatever way you look at it.

Is this Randy's lowest time as owner of the club thus far, and is he going to react by doing something about it, either through funds for the manager or re-investing this in getting a new boss.

This is a clearly unacceptable situation we very realistically could be in the relegation zone come the turn of the year, is this acceptable for Randy given the fact he has invested so much time and energy into the club?

The previous manager left at a very bad time for us, but this has now passed and the current form is that of a relegation candidate.

What are we going to do to sort this sorry mess out?

I can accept losing to a better team, or being unlucky in a game because of poor decisions from officials, but what I cannot accept is a lack of fight or passion and tonight we saw non at all. It was truly awful.

General

after losing to the worse Liverpool team in 50 years, Houllier goes waving to the kop rather than acknowledge the fans who never stopped singing all night even though the shower on the pitch couldn't give a shit.

I implore Randy to show some leadership and get us a proper manager and not an old man who spends more time reminiscng about a time when he knew what he was doing.

Never mind the injuries we are a shambles. Our fully fit defence and goalkeeper are the worst in the league

I agree totally. He also touched the 'This is Anfield' Sign as he walked out at the start. Get rid if he can't focus 100% on us. Get him told please and in no uncertain terms...

It's beginning to look a lot like relegation, General.

It is time for Randy to get tough with the manager as he have not delivered the good. He doesn't show passion or heart for Aston Villa. The players have no fighting spirit, drive, leadership or passion. If we don't sort it out we will be relegated.

Nice to see GH has started to have his influence on the team and great that it is the French will to surrender rather than fight.  Fuck him off before we collapse completely

General, Sir, you've said you're here to deal with the rough and the smooth. It's pretty bumpy now to say the least. What do you have to offer in terms of a response to the above posts?

Bit over the top. A traitor? Not that, but showing two of the worst traits of our former two managers, that's for sure. Like DOL, he is somewhat gushing in respects of his love for his former club, and like MON, he is unwilling to change a part of the team that is letting us down in a big way at the moment. All in all, not very impressive from the new manager.

The French arrive at Villa Park and we start surrendering on the pitch.
