Just back from a week in St Anton, my brief review for anyone that cares.

Let's start with the positives: fantastic snow, great variation in runs unless you are a beginner - I didn't see a green all week and a lot of the blues feel red or even black at times, didn't really sample the nightlife but I hear it's good - easily accessible via train from Zurich/Munich/Innsbruck or driving from the above.

A couple of slight negatives; the area is advertised as this big interlinked skiable area with Lecha and Zurs and a few other small places.  While that is true, it is slightly mischaracterised.  If you want to ski from St. Anton to Lech or vice-versa, you will need all-day and even then you may night make it back depending you your abilities/speed.  Also the signage is not great, getting around is not intuitive.

Having said that, each individual part of this area is fantastic and great skiing to be found all around - would thoroughly recommend it.
