Don't forget they're in the middle of an injury crisis. And the media don't seem to have noticed that we are. Clearly it'll be a miracle if United beat us.

I'd guess at

..................VDS

Brown Ferdinand Vidic O'Shea
Nani Carrick Fletcher Park
...........Berbatov Chicarito

Or he might play one upfront with Gibson or Obertan/Bebe wide with Nani and Park central.

I can see Fletcher bossing the middle and Nani ripping Warnock to bits.

Surely we should be wishing the lads well in what will be, for most of them, a very testing afternoon. They may surprise us yet, even though the phrase "lambs to the slaughter" cannot be far from our thoughts.

Good luck to them all. We shall be there for them whatever may befall.

Evra trained yesterday, so I guess he will be playing. Stephen Ireland has flu and will probably miss today's game.

Ireland had a perfect opportunity to impress today.

Whatever happens i hope we have a go. Never mind negative tactics and hoping for a draw, i'd rather have a real go and try to win it and if we lose doing that so be it.

i have my devon red mate coming over to watch this game today, and around for the boxing later... its going to be a long day of him giving me jip...

he is one of those idiot fans who really does deserve a punch when talking about football and the club who he has no affiliation with whatsoever other than the happy coincidence that they are the most successful in his lifetime, that he alleges to have supported since he were a fetus, despite never travelling further north than exeter before he came to visit me in birmingham...

in fact, why am i friends with him?!? thats it, hes getting a punch when he walks in the door...
